An idyllic site in a forest clearing, away from all roads and other dwellings. This historical manor with its dove cot, stables and outhouses dates back to 1406 and was in the same family for 400 years. It is a charming place little known except to sportsmen, nature lovers and historians, a real haven of peace. The house has been carefully restored by its present owners who have lived there for the last thirty years, making it a perfect stop over on the way further into France.

There are many interesting places to visit in our area. The fascinating small towns of Lyons la Forêt (a unique 16th century time warp), Gerberoy (amazingly beautiful and two centuries older), or the impressive fortification of Chateau Gaillard (built in only one year by Richard the Lion Heart) or those of Gisors on the frontier of English Normandy and the France of the French Kings. There are the Abbey ruins of Mortemer, the gardens created by the artist Monet and the towns of Rouen and Beauvais within striking distance, not forgetting the numerous Festivals and Markets.
